So you've been fighting your acne for awhile now. Your skin has mostly cleared except on your chin for some reason. For some reason, frequent washing just does not seem to affect this area anymore. Do not give up hope, there's still a way you can fight this acne.
It's best to remember that chin acne is really no different than another acne out there. It's still caused by the same factors, a pore becoming clogged and then inflamed. Sometimes to remove that list bit of acne, you need to try things outside of the normal cleansers and creams.
One of the biggest secrets about fighting acne is that it is connected to your diet. Certain foods such as milk and cheese aggravate acne. These foods contain hormones that enter your blood stream and then bind to the follicles. After binding with the follicles, it begins to produce more sebum (oil) which can cause acne. Likewise, foods heavy in saturated fat cause your own body to produce more androgens which lead to the same end.
Also remember that stress can aggravate your acne. The hormones produced by our bodies in response to stress can worsen acne. Find ways, whatever works for you, to relieve stress from your life. This will protect you from not only acne but many other conditions such as heart disease.
Finally, if the above two methods are not clear up acne consider going to a dermatologist to see if your acne is instead being caused by a bacterial infection. Antibiotics are usually the answer for this type of acne, but may not always be.
Keep the pressure up on your chin acne. If one treatment plan is failing to produce results then it's best to try something new. You can fight your chin acne or any other type of bad acne if you keep trying to find what works best.
