Nowadays, almost every skin problem we have is matched with respect skin care products that can help solve them. One very common skin care problem is acne. Normally, people on their adolescence are those who experience them but there are also those who still suffer from severe cases of such even though they're already well-past puberty. Thankfully, there are now products such as acne cream that can minimize, if not solve this skin dilemma. The only unfortunate thing is that with the number of products available in the market, choosing for the right product is already a challenge.
There are basically four types of creams that fight acne as based from their major ingredient components. The first one is retinol cream. This ingredient is a substance rich in vitamin A that mainly functions to cured damaged skin. Acne creams with retinols are available either over-the-counter or as prescription aids. The over-the-counter ones have lower dosages of vitamin A as compared to the prescription creams.
The second type of acne cream is the salicylic acid based acne salves. This product removes acne by killing the bacteria, drying out the pimples, and gently exfoliating the skin. Acne creams with salicylic acid comes in different percentages of acid components which are fit to specific acne cases.
The third type, moreover, are acne creams with benzoyl peroxide. This product is probably the most popular among components used to fight acne and works by drying up the pimples. Benzoyl mostly works for everyone with any kind of skin type but excessive use can lead to skin sensitivity and irritation.
The last acne cream type is those with resveratrol ingredients. Resveratrol is a breakthrough in the acne treatment industry because it brings the same effects as benzoyl peroxide minus its negative effects. Besides from being helpful in drying up the acne, this ingredient is also known to possess anti-aging and healing benefits as well.
